W. Howard Brittlebank, Principal Consultant, brings more than 30 years of international oil & gas and energy industry experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) that includes more than 15 years managing offshore oil & gas development projects in the Arabian Gulf. He has successfully managed, implemented, and completed projects individually worth hundreds of millions of US dollars, and achieved hundreds of millions in cost savings. Mr. Brittlebank is a Mechanical Engineer, has excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills and has expertise in FEED (Front End Engineering Design), cost optimization, project planning, subsea systems, operations, facilities planning, risk management, pipeline construction, electric power engineering design & installation, and HSE (Health Safety & Environmental) systems.

Since 1990, Mr. Brittlebank held engineering and management positions of increasing impact and responsibility at Saudi Aramco, Siemens Westinghouse, British Petroleum, both in the United States and internationally in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. Through his work, he has contributed tens of millions of dollars in profitability to those companies.

Prior to 1990, Mr. Brittlebank worked at GUYMINE, Linden, Guyana (in engineering and management roles), directly managed and developed more than 300 employees, and contributed to the safe, efficient, and productive operations of the facility.

Mr. Brittlebank graduated from Queen’s College, Guyana, and earned a BSc. (First Class Honors) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), England. He also completed course work for a MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA.
